Korean electronics Goliath LG has announced that it has renewed its partnership with delight manufacturer Prada which will give emergence to a "Prada Phone by LG 3.0" which will be launched in 2012. LG and Prada launched a series of phones in 2007 and 2008 with LG stinging to peddle the handsets as being "premium" models. Why is LG reviving this partnership now, nearly four years after the at Prada handset? We don't know.
Since then LG has launched the Optimus range, which has been in the stalk of archrival Samsung's Galaxy range. Both handsets were released before the iPhone became a elephantine hit and before Android came to market. Indeed, LG claimed that Apple copied the LG Prada develop for the prime iPhone, its chairperson of LG Mobile Handset R&D Center said back then: "we ruminate that Apple copied the Prada phone after the draft was unveiled when it was presented in the iF Design Award and won the honour in September 2006." However, LG never officially filed any lawsuit against Apple for strange reasons.
The third phone is rumoured to be the Prada K2 or P940 which will be involved Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4.3-inch display, 21Mbps HSPA+ with a 9mm thick-skulled chassis and a Nokia Lumia-800 archetype design.
