I also cut instantly in partiality with the WP7 style lock vet notifications. Phones.

Delays aside the LG 4G lastly made it to AT&T Sunday. Life being as it is, even with having the gimmick four days previous I still couldn’t happen a technique to organize my thoughts on the Thrill until now. I’ve had it in my proprietorship for a week now and it has mostly integrated itself into my life. Transitioning from the I found my only material demand was putting my phone back together the sense I liked. 5 months carrying the Inspire gave me the obtuse experience to acclimate the menu every day just a little bit.

Putting that together in a weekend was no calm task, and with 0 ease from Go Launcher’s "Save to SD" feature, I expert tiny in the real world. Upon primary boot up the phone is snappy, responsive, and feels righteousness in your hand. The dual quintessence processor and dual pass crowd give it an extra speed boost which is greatly enjoyed while downloading content, but once in a blue moon noticed during conventional phone operation.

I’m assuming this is due to Android’s need of dual inside support in the OS itself, being as I’m not a tech wizard you’ll have to imagine that note with a dab of salt. Aside from that and Androids usual battery scold I have thoroughly enjoyed the phone over the whilom 7 days. The phone has a few things cows that I undoubtedly love, and a duo items that I find frustrating.

Out of the thump the LG overlay has many features alike to that of custom launchers. You can resize the LG widgets without resetting them by ascetically compelling for an extended patch of time and dragging the arrows to accustom it’s size. I also floor instantly in love with the WP7 period lock screen notifications. The biggest contrivance I missed when I liberal WP7 behind was the quick-glance appointment book and messages on the bolt screen, LG has brought that to Android in this device.

My out of aside I discovered some updating issues with the padlock sift notifications for those of us using a specially SMS app. The elementary thing I do with every Android phone is inaugurate Handcent SMS (my favorite SMS app). Normally i entirely trick off notifications for the ordinary messaging app and let Handcent tackle all of my business, with the LG this works flawlessly with one inconsequential quirk.

LG’s notification process doesn’t take it’s reminder from Handcent, it takes it shortly from the stock messaging app, so even though they are being considerable as read by Handcent and show up read backing the stock app, the lock television still shows I have a grundle of focus messages waiting until I free the messaging app itself. It’s a humble gripe, but not knowing how many texts I have waiting gives me a paltry storm of OCD. The only frustration I have found with the phone itself is the periodic delay on unlocking. I would about that 85% of the metre there is absolutely no delay, but the other 15% of the tempo there is a noticeable 1-2 second kick into touch on lighting the screen when I cram the unlock key. The equipment inside the LG Thrill should finish off any delay in matters such as unlocking… so it’s indubitably been a pain point for me this behind week.
