NEW DELHI: Consumer durables prime LG Electronics on Friday announced a notable condition advance of an extended warranty lay out on the company's refrigerators, colour televisions and fully automated meridian loading washing machines with a spectacle of extending its comportment in the market. The proffer would be valid on purchases made between September 15 and December 31 this year and under it customers are entitled to avail extended undertaking of two years on LG refrigerators and slant televisions and three years on washing machines, LG Electronics said in a statement. "This extended pledge performance comes as a bonanza amidst the festive occasion for our consumers as well as for us," LG Electronics India commandant (Marketing) V Ramachandran said.
"The tender is apt to all the elementary purchasers of the products. So, now the LG refrigerator will come with a covenant of one year on all parts and thereafter a six year additional promise on the compressor from the phase of purchase," the society said. Similarly, the fully self-regulating surpass loading washing implement models, which come with a two year agreement will now have an additional guarantee of three years on motors and the CRT-based conceal idiot box models (excluding dead panel displays) will have an additional encyclopaedic bond of two years on the existing one year warranty, it added. The presence has also announced a two-year parole benefit on its LG desktops and PCs.
