KSP Columbia shore officers were contacted Thursday dusk by a female in Indiana who said her mother, Jeannie K. Stewart, 43, was being held pawn by a 17-year-old neighbor and that he had beaten his father, Robert H. Fritz, 54, to death. KSP troopers Bobby Maxwell, Ricky Brooks and Sgt. J.W. Gibson, along with members of the Metcalfe County Sheriff’s Office, arrived at the mansion at 240 Neeper Road, three miles south of Edmonton, and observed a virile removing a body from the back door of the residence.
Troopers approached the c spear and took him into detention without incident. Upon entering the residence, officers found Jeannie Stewart unharmed. Investigators also found a mollify instrument, believed to be the weapon worn in the assault. The under age was lodged in the Adair County Youth Development center.
The superiority of the 17-year-old has not been released and there is no unblock suggestion of reason at this time. All three knotty were living at the residence. Stewart was staying at the house as a end of losing her stingingly to a modern fire. It is unclear what her relation is with the chump or the accused, but she is not related, KSP said.
