It starts at $499, but our critique ne plus ultra is a tweaked $874 version. Rumors.

Dell releases strange small-scale Studio Hybrid PC. (Credit: CNET) You can charge here for our emotional rehash of Dell's , now-official desktop. It starts at $499, but our evaluation display is a tweaked $874 version. This Mac Mini-esque small-scale PC has some original block out touches that give you lots of give in terms of where you put it, but at long last we found better deals from well-known midtower PCs and budget laptops.

We'd only urge it if you're dead-set on one of these minute computers. Dell's Inspiron 518 has a rubberized roof. (Credit: CNET) Perhaps less glamorous, Dell's unripe mainstream keep desktop, the , comes with an updated chassis design.

The highlight is a rubberized peak tray with two USB ports mounted on the back edge, to unravel storing and connecting perceptible devices. Simple enough, but we hope Dell would unite 64-bit Windows, even at this amount range. After all,. The baseline unequalled goes for $399.

We finished testing a $784 item (have you noticed Dell in effect doesn't as though submitting low-end desktops?), and our consider will go up shortly.
