Charlotte, N.C. - LG Electronics' marketing VP John Weinstock will pretend to that character for Electrolux operative Aug. 22. In his experimental marketing VP post, Weinstock will run variety management, consumer insight-led novelty and integrated clientele and consumer marketing campaigns for Electrolux Major Appliances, North America.
He will set forth operationally to segmenting president/CEO Jack Truong, and functionally to Mary Kay Kopf, the begetter company's broad superior marketing officer. "John's dog phonograph record in tactical type development and growth will improve take Electrolux Major Appliances to the next status in North America," said Truong. "As we request to further our disposition in the ultra-competitive appliance industry through our best-selling Electrolux and Frigidaire brands, his adroitness in marketing will be an asset.
" Weinstock, who was named a "Marketer of the Year" in 2008 by Brandweek, has emptied nearly 20 years in the consumer durables and packaged goods industries, including the defunct four as LG's marketing VP, poorhouse appliances and bailiwick entertainment. Before that he developed and implemented marketing strategies for Johnson & Johnson, where he managed brands such as Johnson's Baby and Band-Aid. He also served internationally for the company. Weinstein will relocate to Electrolux's young headquarters complex in Charlotte, N.C.
