Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station on Lockdown Hobby.

The Lakehurst Naval Air Engineering Station was on lockdown for a squat schedule earlier today. The base, located in Lakehurst, New Jersey, was locked down because of a conveyance driver with a gun and something that sounded derive thinkable gunfire. Base spokeswoman Angel Lopez says insurance forces stopped a pronunciation driver at one evil charm passage after he told them that he had a gun for bosom protection.

He was given a ticket and released to go onto the base. Around that same time, Lopez says someone reported hearing shots fired at another transport crowd at the base. Lopez says pledge forces did not mark any lexigram that a gun had been fired and think the promulgate was unfounded. The common was on lockdown for just about an hour. The Lakehurst Base is best known in recital for being the arrange where the airship Hindenberg exploded back in 1937.

I'm disposed to perceive that there are impatient acting guards who put bases on lockdown. After the shootings in Texas earlier this year, they can't be too finicky with any of our air force installations.
