Summer gain: AC, fridge sales gap Refrigerators.

NEW DELHI: While most of us have been reeling under the vituperative summer heat, consumer dependable and consumer goods manufacturers are not complaining. Sales of flexible drinks jumped by nearly 30%, while that of air-conditioners (ACs) grew 15-20% and refrigerators by 10% during April-June. Juices also recorded a expansion of 18% during the tor summer months. Last year, the success in most of these products, especially ACs had been harshly impacted with a rather lenient summer and rains arriving early.
