Auction nervousness grows as affair approaches. LG refrigerators.

Tickets are still obtainable for Humboldt State’s 23rd Annual Celebrity Dinner & Sports Auction, scheduled for Saturday, March 29 in the Kate Buchanan Room on the HSU campus. All proceeds from the happening go so as to approach funding scholarships for student-athletes. Cost of attending is $95, with tickets silent by work Associate Athletic Director Tom Trepiak at 826-5959.



This year’s end will also hallmark a respect to Scott Nelson, who has played an effectual impersonation in the HSU athletics program for years.  Nelson served as threatening coordinator on Coach Bud Van Deren’s football staff, and was the Jacks’ interim athletic official during the program’s change to the learning era. Kicking off the auction will be personality lodger AC Green, who helped the Los Angeles Lakers triumph titles in 1987 and 1988. Green also holds the evidence for playing in more consecutive games (1,192) than any other gambler in NBA history. Items up for c this year encompass set off packages featuring six nights in Moloaa, Kauai, a tour for  to Los Angeles to accompany two Lakers’ games and front-row room at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and one week in an upstate New York cabin.






Other loyal items incorporate dinner for 12 hosted by HSU President Rollin Richmond at the Ingomar Club and a bon viveur dinner with wine pairings for eight provided by Abruzzi/Plaza Grill. Guests can also request on an LG washer and dryer, LG refrigerator, and an oak wine hutch with six cases of wine.
